26-year-old Levi Austin Poarch of Goat Farm Road in Granite Falls was arrested by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with trafficking, opium or heroin, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver schedule II controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in Catawba County and misdemeanor probation violation in Burke County.

Poarch was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility this morning (November 5) under $50,000 bond. District Court dates were scheduled today in Catawba County and December 4 in Burke County.
